Two pilots injured in air crash
Humla, Aug 5: Two pilots of Makalu Air were seriously injured when the plane they were flying met with an accident at Rauterana of Simikot VDC today.
Captain Sange Lama and co-pilot Prashant Shah were seriously injured as the plane heading for Surkhet crashed at around 3:30 in the afternoon, falling on the banks of the Karnali river.
Both Lama and Shah were airlifted by a helicopter to the Simikot hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. The crashed aircraft is reported to have been washed away by the river. Further details about the incident are awaited. RSS
